Dreamweaver Support

Dreamweaver is an excelent web development tool. Through its FTP support it can be fully integragted in to the development of web sites on our servers.

To set this up choose New Site... from the Site menu and follow the following:

In the above, put in your site name.

If you want to use a 'server technology' to help develop your site, or directly access a database, choose Yes and PHP MySQL, otherwise you can choose No.

I suggest that you edit the files locally and then upload them to test.

Our sites can accept files using the FTP method. The location of the files must be under the "virtual_html/" folder to be visible from the Internet.

If you are just going to use the primary site, for both testing and your live site, then select it as above filling in your sites domain name.

For simplicity just set dreamweaver to No.

Dreamweaver setup is now complete and you can begin the development of your site!
